Publishing in a subscription-based journal

You will maintain significant rights, such as self-archiving, by signing the Copyright Transfer Statement:

"Researchers may self-archive on their websites the author's approved manuscript of their papers. Researchers can also deposit this version of the article in any repository, given that it is made publicly accessible only 12 months after official publication or later. He/she may not use the version of the publisher (the final article), which is posted on the websites of the journal and other Discover Publishing Group for self-archiving or depositing purposes. Besides, the author may only post his / her version provided that acknowledgment is given to the original publishing source, and a link is inserted into the published article on the website of the journal.

Previous versions of the article published on non-commercial pre-print servers such as arXiv.org may remain on those servers and may be updated with the accepted version of the author. For this purpose, the final published version (in PDF or HTML / XML format) can not be used. The final publication needs to be acknowledged, and a link to the published article should be inserted on the web of the journal.

Authors sign the Copyright Transfer Statement (CTS), which also details Discover Publishing Group's self-archiving policy when publishing an article in a subscription journal without open access.

Publishing open access

If you are publishing your article in an open-access model, the final published version can be archived in institutional or funder repositories and immediately made publicly available.
